Course Overview

This full day course begins with a lecture portion that will cover the most updated biomimetic protocol for your everyday resin bonding, with a focus on posterior restorations. The first half of the course is focused on understanding a step- by-step checklist that allows predictable posterior resin bondings, including larger fiber-reinforced posterior restorations.

The second half of the course will be the hands on portion where everyone will perform 2 large resin posterior restorations from isolation to final polishing. During this portion we will understand isolation techniques, matrix adaptation, utilization of deep marginal elevation matrixes, choice of shades, bonding protocol, utilization of fiber- reinforced composites, and layering anatomic posterior restorations inspired by nature.
